A man who claimed several Tulsa Police officers attacked him during an arrest over the weekend was found dead in his Norman apartment Wednesday.

Keith Kimmel gained statewide attention in February for filing a lawsuit against the Oklahoma Tax Commission for not granting his application for an “IM GAY” license plate.

According to TPD, Kimmel got into a fight at the End Up Bar, located in the 5300 block of East Admiral, early Saturday morning.

Upon refusing to leave the bar, he was thrown out by employees and officers took over, Fox23 reports.
